In 2020 I have almost exclusively fished with Red Truck rods and reels. The term “bang for your buck” is a worn, and sometimes misused, expression. But in this case it’s given a new life. No flashy ads, no constant updates to the rod-series, each rod has its own action for the use it’s intended for. And it sure gets the job done. The song “Stuff that works” by Guy Clark comes to mind, and sums up Red Truck pretty good. Reliable, tough and with lots of feel, stuff that works.”
